We are trying to do everything we can to help. When you make mistakes or write a check for more money than your account holds, we offer a discretionary Overdraft Privilege service that will prove to be very helpful. (Some restrictions apply).
To you, OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE means:
Fewer charges by retailers for insufficient funds checks.
Less aggravation and embarrassment.
Just that much more flexibility and convenience in managing your funds.
To qualify for OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE, you must have made deposits totaling at least $500 within the last 30 days.
You have the right to “Opt In” to this service at any time. If you “Opt In” when opening a new account, after a 30-day waiting period, the service will be activated. If at any time following the 30-day waiting period you choose to “Opt In”, simply call Customer Service and tell them you want this service. Or you can “Opt In” by logging into your account online, clicking the “Opt In/Out” button in the menu bar, and filling out and submitting the online form.
Of course, we are not promising to pay overdrafts. But if you maintain your eligible account in good standing, rather than automatically returning any items unpaid that will overdraw your account, we will consider, without obligation on our part, payment of your reasonable overdrafts.
We are not obligated to pay any item presented for payment if your account does not contain sufficient collected funds even if we may have previously paid such items.
